Eulonda Washington

After 30 years in the field of education, Eulonda Washington considers herself a transformational and servant leader. During her 35-year tenure, Mrs. Washington has held various roles, including teacher, department chair, grade-level chair, SST chair, assistant principal, principal, coordinator, and director. She has received numerous accolades and has presented at several conferences to share her best practices for leading schools and central office teams.
She takes great pride in serving as a coach and mentor to those who aspire to lead, but even more importantly, she believes her most important role is to promote growth in others. As the current principal of CSKYWLA, Washington loves and leads all of her students by partnering with their families to support student growth and productivity. She believes that the essential keys to a student's success include academic rigor, exposure, and a commitment to student learning that involves loving each aspect of every child as if that child were her own.
Assistant Principal
Mrs. LaTarsha Mills-McKie

Mrs. LaTarsha Mills-McKie proudly serves as the Assistant Principal at Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy (CSKYWLA), bringing over 33 years of experience in education. A proud graduate of Tuskegee University, she holds a Bachelor of Science degree, as well as a Master of Science and an Educational Specialist degree in Community Psychology and School Counseling from Troy State University.
Mrs. Mills-McKie began her career at Gideons Elementary School, where she taught kindergarten and first grade for five years before transitioning into school counseling at Dunbar Elementary. She later served at Parks Middle School, supporting the Mechanicsville and Pittsburgh communities, before joining the CSKYWLA family in 2012.
Deeply passionate about empowering young women, Mrs. Mills-McKie believes that “every girl has a dream with her name on it.” She is dedicated to helping each student discover her brilliance, polish her potential, and shine brightly as a future leader ready to change the world.
Assistant Principal
Mrs. Kaywana Stewart

Mrs. Kaywana Stewart is honored to serve as an Assistant Principal at Coretta Scott King Young Women’s Leadership Academy (CSKYWLA). She brings a diverse and extensive background in education, having served in both public and private school settings in roles such as paraprofessional, classroom teacher, gifted lead, Social Studies department chair, instructional coach, MTSS specialist, and, most recently, Director of Middle Grades.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Stewart has demonstrated a deep commitment to instructional leadership, student support, and teacher development. Her experience designing curriculum, leading professional learning, and implementing schoolwide systems has consistently driven student achievement and cultivated positive, inclusive school cultures.
With a heart for children and a passion for community service, Mrs. Stewart believes in the power of relationships, high expectations, and collaboration. She is dedicated to ensuring that every student at CSKYWLA feels supported, valued, and empowered to reach their fullest potential.
